AQUATIC THERAPY: type of
therapy that involves performing excersises in water to
speed and maximize recovery, it enables patients to gain
motion at a quick pace with less pain.
Almost anyone can benefit from aquatic therapy. Water’s
natural buoyancy allows freedom of movement without
straining the body. Water protects joints during exercises,
helps alleviate pain, stiffness, swelling, and encourages
strengthening of the muscles. This type of therapy is
especially beneficial for people who have difficulties with
the weight bearing activities due to fractures, arthritis or
even weight.
We provide aquatic therapy alone or in combination with the
traditional physical therapy. No swimming ability is
required.
PHYSICAL THERAPY: type
of therapy that focuses primarily on those individuals whose
potential or actual impairment is related to
musculoskeletal, neruromusculoskeletal, integumentary, and
cardiopulmonary systems. It also focuses on methods of
evaluation the functions of these systems and on selection
and application of appropriate therapeutic interventions to
alleviate pain, and to maintain, improve or restore function
and prevent dysfunction.
ACCUPUNCTURE: is a
technique of inserting and manipulating
filiform needles into "acupuncture
points" on the body with the aim of restoring health and
well-being, e.g. treating
pain and
diseases. Acupuncture is thought to have originated in
China and is most commonly associated with
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Different types of
acupuncture (Classical Chinese, Japanese, and Korean
acupuncture) are practiced and taught throughout the world.
This type of therapy that provides safe help for a wide
range of health problems including acute and chronic pain.
